ZUCCHERO SUGAR FORNACIARI LIVE IN MONTE CARLO, THE JOY OF RETURNING TO A CONCERT AND TALKING ABOUT MUSIC

Zucchero Sugar Fornaciari – Salle des Etoiles, Monte-Carlo Sporting Summer Festival 2021

Talking and writing about music is one of my favorite activities, as well as imagining and organizing events where music is an essential element, whether it’s a DJ set, or a live show by an artist or a band. But returning to attend a live concert and then telling listeners and readers about it was a very special moment.

Zucchero Sugar Fornaciari had already been there in Monte Carlo, I also had the pleasure of meeting and interviewing him many years ago. The artistic direction of the Societé des Bains de Mer wanted it again in concert in the Salle des Étoiles on Sunday 25 July, for the Sporting Summer Festival 2021. When they called me to attend INACUSTICO LIVE by Zucchero I accepted with enthusiasm. A tour of only 15 concerts and one of these in Monaco. Unmissable!
I was sure that, once again, the great artist would leave his mark with his music, in front of an international audience.

GALA OF MONACO RED CROSS, EMOTIONS UNDER THE STARS WITH JAMIE CULLUM

It was truly a special evening for the approximately 700 participants who, on Friday 16 July, gathered in the new Place of Casino and it was a privilege to be part of it. The Gala of the Monegasque Red Cross, organized by the Societé des Bains de Mer, took place outdoors and for the occasion the event became the first “Summer Concert”, starring the British artist Jamie Cullum.

Prince Albert II, president of the Monegasque Red Cross, arrived at 8.30 pm and with him were his sister, Princess Caroline of Hannover with the three children Casiraghi: Pierre accompanied by his wife Béatrice, Andrea with his wife Tatiana and Charlotte, but without her husband Dimitri Rassam. Also absent is the wife of the Sovereign, Princess Charlène, who is in South Africa. Present the brother of the Princess of Monaco, Gareth Wittstock with her consort.

At 10.30 pm Jamie Cullum took the stage, a magnificent performance in a night under the stars different from all those preceded by over a year and a half.

An event that honored the great work done by the Monegasque Red Cross, to which the proceeds from the gala are destined to support its humanitarian actions.
